Though the organization is now much smaller, the contributions of these veterans to our nation and our community will always be remembered. Their service helped shape Lowell and continues to serve as an example of patriotism, courage, and civic pride.
The Greek American Veterans of Lowell left behind more than just memories. They strengthened the bonds within the Greek community, supported one another through difficult times, and instilled values of duty and honor in their children and grandchildren. Their legacy lives on through the Greek Veterans Memorial, the stories passed down in families, and the continued pride that Lowell’s Greek-American community takes in their military service.
