The organization proudly carried a unique flag featuring a gold eagle with outstretched wings above crossed lightning bolts. This flag represented the strength and energy of Lowell’s Greek-American veterans. Their service is also commemorated by the Greek Veterans Memorial located at the corner of Dummer and Broadway in Lowell.
The striking blue flag, inscribed with “Greek American Legion Lowell Mass.” in gold lettering, was a powerful symbol of pride for the post. The organization regularly participated in memorial ceremonies, including wreath-laying events at the Greek Veterans Memorial and the Greek Pioneers Monument near City Hall.
